DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOAPS

Soap is a cleansing agent. It is used in cleansing and lubricating agents. Soaps are usually used for washing, bathing, etc. Soap is a mandatory item for every household. They are the most essential elements of personal hygiene. They can be used for cleansing of any surface. Nowadays, there is a problem of scar among people, so there are many soaps for scars are available in the market for the prevention of scars.

There are many different types of soaps available in the market:

·  Glycerine Soap- These soaps contain glycerine as a component. All handmade soaps contain glycerine, as it forms as a by-product of the chemical process of formation of soap. On commercial level. Glycerine has been purposely removed by the manufacturer to sold for other product making usage like cosmetic and moisturizer.

·     Transparent Soap- This soap is made by the hot process method. For making the soap transparent, some form of alcohol is added to it. Sugar can also be added in place of alcohol as an alternative.

·        Liquid Soap- Making process of this soap of this is somewhat more complicated than other soaps. It is usually made by using the hot process method. This soap is liquid, as in this soap potassium hydroxide is used instead of sodium hydroxide. And also, more water is added in this type of soap.

·       Antifungal Soap- This soap contains some antifungal agents to treat fungal infections. This also contains extracts from medicinal plants, essential oils, vitamin E, natural glycerine, tea tree oil.

·       Flavoured Soaps- This soap is made from extracts of herbs and plants. These soaps come in different flavours such as peppermint, vanilla, seaweed, lemongrass, tea tree, etc. These soaps have a pleasant fragrance and a refreshing feel.

·        Luxury Soaps- These soaps are made from premium ingredients.
